The Labrador Sourcebook The Labrador Sourcebook (48 pages, illustrated, softbound, revised 1990) is a reference for the Labrador Retriever owner. From the introduction: "We wanted it to be a reference - something which would not become a white elephant after the first reading. We wanted it to give readers a feeling for the Labrador Retriever Club of Southern California and, to some extent, define it's activities. We wanted it to provide at least sources of information for the many questions novices ask, if not the actual answers. We wanted it to be a booklet which breeders could confidently send home with a new puppy. And especially we wanted it to be a reflection of the Labrador Retriever - the many facets of the breed itself, and the many aspects of maintaining these essential qualities by responsible breeding." "...The balance of the booklet we hope will have something to offer more experienced fanciers. In particular, the color inheritance charts, and the original and thought provoking articles by our guest authors - all of them respected authorities associated with labradors for many years - cannot be found in any other publication." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ordering Information...
